CHAPEL SPRINGS WORSHIP
audition application
Thank you for your interest in auditioning for our worship team at Chapel Springs Church! Our musicians and vocalists serve various ministries of our church such as Weekend Worship Experiences, theSOURCE youth, and Special Events. Being a part of the worship team is not about showcasing ability but pouring into the local church by helping people follow Jesus through the arts..

ONBOARDING PROCESS
STEP 1:
FIRST LOOK
Before any training or audition takes place, ALL prospective team members need to observe ONE
rehearsal. The first part of our rehearsal is split. While the band is rehearsing on the platform, the frontline
vocalists and choir are rehearsing in the choir room. You are more than welcome to participate in these
rehearsals. Here you will be provided with our handbook, Serving Application, and any necessary audition
materials. IEMS are encouraged but not required.
STEP 2:
COMPLETE SERVING APPLICATION
After reading the worship handbook, you can complete the Serving Application by following the QR
Code. In this part of the process, vocalists and instrumentalists will submit a video* for their audition. All
audition information can be found through the Audition Packet QR Code.
*An in-person audition can take place on a case-by-case basis.
STEP 3:
INTERVIEW
After you have completed your serving application and your audition, your interview will be scheduled
with the Worship Pastor and the team leader of your respective area. This can occur the night of your 2nd
rehearsal or at an otherwise scheduled time. At this time, we will review the handbook and the Serving
agreement.
STEP 4:
TRAINING/MINISTRY PLACEMENT
Following your interview, you will be assigned training videos through our training platform called MxU.
Once video trainings are completed, those interested in tech will begin technical training in their selected
area, while instrumentalists and vocalists will be added to the roster. Your ministry placement will not take
place until after you have attended at least three rehearsals.
