Accounting Assistant

Tuesday-Thursday, 8:30-5:00 | 24 hrs per week

Looking for a detail oriented person to perform clerical and technical work involving the preparation and maintenance of financial records.

Must have a thorough knowledge of bookkeeping terminology and methods, standard office procedures and practices, and computer programs.

Facilities Technician

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. As part of our team, you will assist the Facilities Director and other team members in the maintenance and operations of the facility. This includes overseeing the repair and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and other systems within our facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid understanding of facilities maintenance.

40 Hours per week

Responsibilities

  • General handyman duties, repair, and upkeep of interior and exterior of facility and church-owned/leased equipment

  • Monitor and troubleshoot fire alarm and HVAC monitoring systems

  • Assess church vehicles for necessary repairs, inspections, and scheduled maintenance

  • Follow the established schedule of preventative maintenance for church systems and infrastructure

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

  • Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related issues

  • Respond to facility-related emergencies in a timely manner

  • Assist in room set-up and tear-down as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to represent the church with professionalism at all times

  • Considerable knowledge of methods, tools, materials, techniques, and terminology of general building maintenance

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

  • Flexibility to respond to changing schedules as goals and objectives change
